Sr. Indirect Tax Analyst (Flexible Work Model)

We are searching for an Indirect Tax Analyst to join our clients high-performing tax team. This role offers the ability to support the indirect tax function and be viewed as an expert on indirect tax within the organization, including making recommendations to key stakeholders. This position holds primary responsibility for supporting the indirect tax function and making recommendations to leaders within and outside the Tax department.

Qualified candidates should possess experience with:

• Quarterly and annual tax filings related to sales, use, and property tax functions for US and Canada in a multi-corporation organization.
• Tax return reviews and prepares quarterly reclassification and true-up journal entries.
• Audits related to domestic and international tax issues including balancing goals of minimizing audit exposure and overall tax burden to the organization.
• Focused on identifying and implementing ways to continuously improve our indirect tax function processes and procedures through the use of trend reporting analysis and metrics management.

Candidates may be qualified for this role if they possess:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Masters preferred.
• 5+ years of Indirect tax experience in a company doing business in multiple states.
• CPA Certification preferred / Not required
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience
