SR. IT Business Analyst at Nesco Resource

About the Job
The Business Analyst will play a vital role in the Fire, Safety & Power Systems Division to craft and execute plans for successful acquisition integration and major technology solution deployments in support of the divisions Digital and IT strategic vision and roadmap. This position works directly with Business dept. leaders, cross-functional users and Internal/Vendor functional & technical teams on the planning, Implementing, and supporting IT Business Applications solutions.
Essential Functions:
ERP implementation support: Act as a subject matter expert in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, providing expertise and guidance throughout the implementation process. Assist in system configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
Solution Delivery:
Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyze existing processes, and identify areas for improvement.
Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional/technical requirements, to deliver information technology solutions
Researching and analyzing user's business requirements, technical specifications, writing test plans in support of business functions, process knowledge and system requirements.
Data analysis and reporting: Analyze complex datasets, perform data mapping, and develop meaningful insights to support decision-making processes. Create and deliver comprehensive reports, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
Change management: Support organizational change initiatives by facilitating communication, training, and user adoption activities. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and successful implementation of new processes and systems.
Project coordination: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities. Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely completion and adherence to project scope.
Accountable for delivery of solutions (Business Process), plus the architecture and documentation within their area of technical expertise, supporting enterprise and global environments
Establishes methods to monitor and improve performance of systems and processes.
Identifies deficiencies in IT systems/processes and recommends solutions / areas for improvement
Understands business impact; Create and communicate decisions impacting the wider business, effectively managing customer expectations
Producing Cost Benefit Analysis and recommending solution to improve business process(es)
Completes root cause analysis of issues and decisively leads problem resolution
Proactively anticipates changes, makes recommendations to leadership, leads and implements change within team
Qualifications
4-year University / College Degree and significant technical / business certifications
Five or more years' experience in Information Technology
Solid knowledge of business and ERP processes in a complex manufacturing environment. Prior experience with SAP or Infor Visual ERP, a plus
Experience in handling business processes for manufacturing, finance & Supply chain
Proficient in IT life-cycle management methodologies, including design, development, testing, project management and change management
Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
Demonstrate effective decision-making and critical thinking skills
Proficient in analyzing and documenting complex business processes
Ability to travel as needed
