We are currently looking for a strong Senior Java Developer to develop a high quality, high performance, high traffic, interactive applications supporting complex business rules.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· 1.Collaborate with Product Management and User Experience regarding product definition, schedule, scope, and project-related decisions
· 2.Design, Develop & Maintain features and applications that will excite and please a user base that will grow into the millions
· 3.Innovate products that are high quality, scalable, reliable and fast
· 4.Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum team to plan sprints, expand stories into tasks, and work on removing impediments
· 5.Perform code reviews, code refactoring, and mentor other developers in best practices
· 6.Identify and assist in mitigating technical, schedule, and other project risks
· 7.Investigate technologies that can be leveraged in the team's implementations
· 8.Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders to ensure project efforts proceed efficiently and predictably
Skills and Qualifications:
· 1.Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or comparable experience.
· 2.Strong object-oriented software development and problem solving skills.
· 3.3 or more years of professional Java development experience.
· 4.Java application development
· 5.Web Programming Skills
· 6.Software Requirements
· 7.Software Development Process,
· 8.Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
· 9.Software Debugging
· 10.Architecture experience
· 11.Experience in the Agile Software Development Methodology.
· 12.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
· 13.Ability to effectively change design and development approaches as the business requirements dictate.
· 14.Ability to work as a pair or in a team environment and effectively meet project deliverables on time.
· 15.Strong analytical skills and an ability to provide creative solutions to problems.
