HOW YOU WILL SOAR:

We are looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions working alongside a team of experienced developer leaders. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will lead products from discovery and framework-through iterative development and delivery while maintaining a user-centered approach in design perspective and practice. A firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in the role.

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

• Design efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs

• Work in a paired programming collaborative environment, contributing to agile ceremonies

• Lead the design of efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs

• Develop frontend and backend code utilizing test-driven development

• Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions.

• Keep job knowledge up to date by studying new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks; participating in professional organizations.

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

• Create diagrams and technical documentation

• Other duties as assigned

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics or related field

• 5 – 7 years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

• Proficiency with:

  • Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST Web Services, data exchange (JSON, XML), Database with schema (SQL Server, Oracle), Database with no-schema (DynamoDB), Automation testing (Junit, Cucumber)

  • JBoss 6.1 and WildFly, Hibernate, ActiveMQ, Rest /Soap, Apache Click, Open Office, Eclipse, Microsoft SQL Server 2016, Jenkins, Selenium, Maven/Ant, Java 1.8

  • Git/BitBucket/Jenkins/Pipeline, AWS, GitLabs, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA/Confluence, Splunk

• Experience in Java application development and support; a Java expert

• Experience developing new web applications and utilizing modern web technologies such as Spring, REST, React, JavaScript/jQuery, micro services, Junit, Selenium

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, SecDevOps, and Containers

• Willingness to upskill outside of the traditional Java world as needed

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Great attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology

• Experience delivering individual and institutional client facing solutions; Web Portal(s), online payments, and third-party integrations

• Experience with developing financial platforms Portfolio Management, or Trading platforms

• Experience delivering secure, high performance, fault tolerant, and high availability solutions
