HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
We are looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions working alongside a team of experienced developer leaders. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will lead products from discovery and framework-through iterative development and delivery while maintaining a user-centered approach in design perspective and practice. A firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in the role.

Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

Design efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs

Work in a paired programming collaborative environment, contributing to agile ceremonies

Lead the design of efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs

Develop frontend and backend code utilizing test-driven development
-
Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions.

Keep job knowledge up to date by studying new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks; participating in professional organizations.

Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics or related field

5 – 7 years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
-
Proficiency with:

Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST Web Services, data exchange (JSON, XML), Database with schema (SQL Server, Oracle), Database with no-schema (DynamoDB), Automation testing (Junit, Cucumber)

JBoss 6.1 and WildFly, Hibernate, ActiveMQ, Rest /Soap, Apache Click, Open Office, Eclipse, Microsoft SQL Server 2016, Jenkins, Selenium, Maven/Ant, Java 1.8

Git/BitBucket/Jenkins/Pipeline, AWS, GitLabs, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA/Confluence, Splunk

Experience in Java application development and support; a Java expert

Experience developing new web applications and utilizing modern web technologies such as Spring, REST, React, JavaScript/jQuery, micro services, Junit, Selenium

Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, SecDevOps, and Containers

Willingness to upskill outside of the traditional Java world as needed

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Great attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology

Experience delivering individual and institutional client facing solutions; Web Portal(s), online payments, and third-party integrations

Experience with developing financial platforms Portfolio Management, or Trading platforms

Experience delivering secure, high performance, fault tolerant, and high availability solutions
