Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Hands on experience gained through at least 8 years in a complex software development role.
- Proven ability to manage an outage incident, coordinating user communications, and other teams to help resolve an incident.
- Hands-on professional that understands both application and infrastructure patterns
- Experience with full stack application development technologies, including Java, RESTful APIs, front end technologies such as Angular or React, JSON/XML, Relational (SQL/Oracle) and Document-Based (No-SQL/MongoDB) databases, and Cloud technologies
- strong Application Security experience integrating and resolving vulnerabilities within Veracode
- Understanding cloud-native enterprise applications deployed in PCF, AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools using GitHub/GitActions and Bitbucket/Bamboo
- strong ownership mentality with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to communicate with Traders/Portfolio Managers/Compliance/Risk users to discuss their issues and work through to a resolution.

- SQL/Databases (SQL Server): Understanding of tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures, and the ability to understand them by reading their definitions. Familiarity with SQL queries. Understanding of transactions, query plan analysis and database troubleshooting.

Preferred qualifications:
- Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and remediate issues affecting production applications.
- Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to affected parties during the investigation and resolution of any individual or system-wide outage.
- Responsible for ensuring the Change Implementation Management policies are adhered to for all changes deployed to Production.
- Work with development teams at the appropriate stages to ensure the support strategy guidelines are followed and new systems or projects meet the Production standards.
- Constantly update knowledge repository, ensure information regarding any support related activities or issues are available and easily accessible.
- Responsible for servicing all requests for data or other activities that require access to Production systems.
- Improve self-reliance and reduce dependency on the availability of development or external team resources for the initial troubleshooting and resolution of problems.
- Ability to work independently and also collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers, and leaders
- Ability work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
