Why is this role open? What need will this worker fill?
This role is open to augment the development team for the applications integrations work required in one of the ongoing project. The developer will help to build the application integrations of Oracle EBS and other systems with one of the SAAS solutions that is being implemented as part of this project.
What does a typical work day entail? What are the daily tasks/responsibilities/deliverables?
The daily tasks would include
- participating in design discussions with the development lead and functional lead of the project
- Reviewing requirements and functional design documents to build technical designs
- creating technical design documents and getting it reviewed from the development lead of the project
- Development of pl/sql packages , web services using REST API and java
- coding and unit testing as per the tech design
- debugging and supporting the code customizations for the project.
- adapting to the new or changing design requirements
What are the must/nice to have skills you are looking for in this CW?
Required skillset : web services development, java, REST API.
The candidate must possess good knowledge and working experience in sql development, java, web services and REST APIs. Knowledge of Spring Boot is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Oracle ERP development , PL/SQL AP, PO, INV modules would be beneficial.
This team consist of 14 members, supporting the Oracle dev for Sirent retail. The current team purchased a new cloud based software and they need someone to help with the development in it, building integrations from the current technology to the cloud software.

- Developing effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications.
- As directed, analyzes system requirements and existing business processes and information systems. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and implements simple to moderate software applications. 6+ years.
