Sr. Java Developer
We are seeking an accomplished enterprise software Developer to support HEMS application residing in an Oracle WebCenter environment. You'll need deep production experience in designing, developing and debugging large-scale complex services for significant organizations or systems that scale to millions of users and transactions. This is a great opportunity for a skilled, innovative engineer with vision who wants to make a difference working on the complete Java EE stack – from UI to database.
You will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. software architecture to meet changing needs. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgement very often independently investigate, present options, review and implement completely new functionality. Or, re-architect an existing solution to meet growing needs. Fully competent in your own area of expertise. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area and 8+ years of software engineering or related experience.
Responsibilities:
· Coding in Java, covering various aspects of JEE, Jersey REST, Security, scripts and a variety of other languages and technologies.
· Integration of various collaboration products and components with WebCenter Portal and WebLogic Server. Special emphasis on out of process communication and optimize your designs for scalability, concurrency, performance, reliability issues that come up with such integration.
· Developing a reusable framework for integrating with other modules.
· Work with architects, engineers across teams to integrate WebCenter Portal with multiple other applications as part of a suite in a hybrid model.
· Occasionally, work with customer support and product team to help resolve customer issues, and propose new designs and features in response.
Job Requirements
· 8-12 years of experience in developing enterprise software products (portals, database systems, content management systems).
· Majority of your experience is in object-oriented development in Java. Possess good working knowledge of Java, Java EE, Jersey, XML, Database (SQL, PL/SQL).
· Deep understanding and commitment to quality; able to describe prior experience with scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
· Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related area.
· Possess excellent communication skills (especially written), strong organization skills and a proven team player.
