Job Title: Sr Java Developer

Location: Woonsocket, RI

Position Type: Contract

Duration: 6 / 12 Month

Work Type: Onsite

Rate: Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in Java and Angular coding needed.
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring framework.
Experience with Angular (version 2+) and TypeScript.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Good understanding of software design patterns.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications using frameworks like Spring Boot.
Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular framework.
Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between the frontend and backend.
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
Perform unit and integration testing to ensure the quality of code.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the application.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Nice to have skills:
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
