GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Learning Analyst is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, forecasting, and reporting on various aspects of Leadership and Enterprise Development (LED), and providing expertise in projects that support Credit Union goals and objectives.
Responsibilities include creating reports from a variety of data and applications to provide LED and other departments with data, statistical analysis, and making recommendations to management on improvements.
Senior Learning Analyst is responsible for managing the overall analysis, design, development, and implementation of a robust learning management system (LMS) at the Credit Union.
TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:
Provide subject matter expertise on learning analytics solutions from core reporting through to data science solutions across the employee lifecycle to drive innovation & development of leading-edge insights.
PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to clear background and drug if required by client.
Technical experience with PowerBI, Sequel Server, APIs, Zapier, SFTPs is required
Experience with Learning Management Systems

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:
Provide subject matter expertise on learning analytics solutions from core reporting through to data science solutions across the employee lifecycle to drive innovation & development of leading-edge insights.
- Continue to enhance existing advanced analytics products to the next level in line with business and people strategy priorities.
- Presenting to and working with the LED leadership team on projects including analysis, budgeting, monthly reporting, and external training platforms.
- Generate reports from a variety of data and applications to provide LED and other departments with data, statistical analysis, and make recommendations to management on improvements.
- Create and maintain dashboards ranging from KPIs to program level reports.
- Ongoing analysis of LED programs through test scores, evaluations, surveys, feedback from stakeholders, facilitators, and designers. Make recommendations for course modifications based on analysis.
- Assist with managing and administering the Learning Management System (LMS) and continually assess reporting related processes for effectiveness, suitability and make recommendations to management as appropriate.
- Provide training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation related to report creation and maintenance.
- Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position.

PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS:
- Effective oral and written communication skills required to fulfill job duties.
- Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an on-line computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as financial calculators, personal computer, and telephone.
- Strong team skills and the ability to work constructively and collaboratively with all levels of management, peers, and other departments. Ability to maintain a solution-oriented overall team approach within and outside Learning & Development, and to focus on overall Credit Union goals.
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS &RELATIONSHIPS:
- INTERNAL: All levels of staff at the credit union.
- EXTERNAL: Training and education associations, community organizations and vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION: A college-degree in related field is preferred.
- EXPERIENCE: Five years or more experience in data science and analytics roles.
- KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Proficient in PowerBI, Sequel Server, APIs, Zapier, and SFTPs.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, Dayforce/Docebo preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and mathematical skills.
- Familiarity with training related metrics including tying to business outcomes.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team.
- Must demonstrate project management skills.
- Demonstrate ability to anticipate issues, present solutions, and handle confidentiality of data.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
- Ability to multi-task and to work productively and professionally within LED and across credit union departments.
