Job Title: Sr Leave of Absence Administrator
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Sr Leave of Absence Administrator to join our team. This role is critical in managing and addressing employee leave questions, including short-term disability, state paid leaves, and FMLA. The ideal candidate will have strong HR and Leave of Absence experience, with the ability to start contributing immediately. Training will be provided on specific software, but a proactive and self-sufficient approach is essential.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for short-term disability, state paid leaves, and FMLA inquiries.
- Handle 10-15 tickets per week related to employee leave questions, escalating from HR Shared Services as needed.
- Collaborate with the Aflac team for leave approval processes.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing in collaboration with the Payroll team during employee leave periods.
- Communicate effectively with HR Business Partners regarding employee leave statuses.
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience with Oregon Leave and multi-state leave management.
- Strong understanding of FMLA and state paid leave regulations.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Excel for tracking and logging data.
- Experience with the Aflac portal.
- Familiarity with Workday and Cherwell ticketing system.

Work Environment
This position operates on a hybrid work schedule, with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and remote work on Monday and Friday. The standard working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Given the short-term nature of the assignment, there may be flexibility for a more remote role or fewer in-office days, subject to prior approval.
