We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Machine Learning Engineer to join our team
If you are a self-starter with a passion for personalization, sales, and marketing, and have a deep understanding of state-of-the-art technologies, algorithms, and paradigms, we want to hear from you.What you’ll do:Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models that drive personalization across various customer touchpoints, enhancing the overall user experience.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and sales, to integrate ML solutions that optimize marketing strategies and sales performance.Innovate and implement state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and technologies, ensuring our solutions remain at the cutting edge of the industry.Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and trends that inform the development of targeted marketing campaigns and personalized customer experiences.Continuously monitor and improve the performance of deployed models, ensuring they meet business objectives and scalability requirements.Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and data science, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and services.Mentor and collaborate with other engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.Skills and knowledge you should possess:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.5+ years of professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a similar role, with a focus on personalization, sales, and marketing.Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art algorithms and paradigms in machine learning, particularly in recommendation systems, predictive modeling, and customer segmentation.Experience working with large-scale data processing frameworks like Spark, Hadoop, or similar.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and scalable ML infrastructure.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.A self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Bonus points (nice skills to have, but not needed): Experience in A/B testing, multi-armed bandits, or other experimental methodologies for optimizing marketing strategies.Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.Prior experience in a startup or innovative tech environment is a plus.Targeted Base Salary Range: $142,200 to $216,500The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.At Vimeo, we strive to hire and nurture amazing talent across the globe
