A Senior Maintenance Technician job is available with our service client located in Bloomfield, CT. In this role, you will function as one of the Sr. Technician's at the customer site for a long-term maintenance contract. Must have AGV (Automated Guidance Vehicle) knowledge. and forklift experience

This is a day Shift position from 6:00AM to 6:30PM. The schedule is 4 days on and 4 days off. Schedule overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Repair and maintenance of AGVs and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including calibrating sensors, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, hydraulics troubleshooting, etc.
* Completes preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
* Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry (5V to 480V).
* Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
* Troubleshoot AGV problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.
* Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
* Performs complex maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
* Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
* Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organizations.

Requirements:
* HS diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or vocational technical training preferred. Specialized skill training/certification preferred.
* 3+ years of Electrical troubleshooting skills to include wiring, ac power, ac motors, electrical drawings/schematics, and control panels.
* Knowledge of automated equipment; preferably automated material handling systems.
* Some experience with DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, Ethernet, or equivalent network communications is a plus.
* Must be able to evaluate and analyze, Semi-complex system/equipment performance data, perform root cause analysis, and recommend resolution of design-performance issues.
