The Sr. Manager of Supply Chain will gather and deliver timely, meaningful insights and thought leadership on how competitive actions and market trends will influence our day-to-day supply chain operation. This position will work closely with the Director of Supply chain to monitor our vendors key expenditures including hotel F&B, Marine Repair and Maintenance, Drydocks, Newbuild support, Fuel, Airlines, Corporate and other areas as identified by management. This position will also look into efforts to minimize costs.
- Works closely with the Director of Supply chain to develop the HF&B Supply Chain function by working across Hotel Operations both shipboard and shoreside, Finance, 3P service providers Oceanic Catering and Hellmann’s Logistics, and others as needed to identify gaps and proposing solutions.
- Looks to optimize the Supply Chain function with a focus on lowering total delivered product costs through ongoing review of sourcing and distribution strategies across all stakeholders.
- Develops and monitors a set of service level agreements and dashboard to identify the key handoffs between individual stakeholders and the supply chain function.
- Develops together with the Director of Supply chain key Performance Indicators to monitor stakeholder and 3P performance on an on-going basis. Emphasis will be on identifying issues with as much lead time as possible to allow for cost-effective corrective actions and minimizing the workload for the shipboard staff.
- Involved with the potential auditing of supply chain contracts with both 3P and agreements utilized by 3P as agents of Azamara to ensure continued transparency in all business practices.
- Oversee Inventory Managers (in a dotted line management relationship) to ensure visibility of on-board inventory while acting as bridge between Logistics, Procurement, Operations and Finance and raising/ escalating operational issues while establishing appropriate oversight, policies, procedures, and protocols as needed.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- List any responsibilities for budget, expenses and/or achievement of revenue targets in US Dollars.
- Assist with ongoing budgeting/ financial projections on behalf of supply chain understanding budgets are a combination of supply chain responsibilities (price) and operations (usage).
WHAT WE LOOK FOR: (Requirements)
- 3 years Cruise Experience Required
- Bachelor of Business Administration/Logistics/Supply chain/Finance preferred
- 8 + years of experience in broad based background in Supply Chain, with experience interfacing with Operations, Finance, 3P Providers, and management at all organizational levels, and comfortable working in an environment that continues to be built and is expected to scale.
- Experience with cruise, hotel, airline, restaurant, consumer, travel/OTA companies is required. Combination of education and experience in related field will be considered.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Occasional travel may be required
- Ability to pull information from a variety of systems in order to build the “full picture” for management and make summary recommendations based on such picture.
- Strong leadership, motivation, and communication ability.
- Is comfortable presenting publicly and is skilled at communicating complex ideas to senior leadership.
- Skilled in analyzing information, problems, situations, practices or procedures.
- Ability to analyze information and form conclusions to summarize and present to senior leadership.
- Experience with corporate and industry analytics and research techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate across Business Units with all levels of management and employees.
- Proven working knowledge of personal computers, with associated financial, analytical, desktop software and communication packages.
