Sr. Mechanical Engineer - MDS Staffing

Mechanical and Engineering firm in the Twin Cities is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer, PE to join the team.

Registered professional mechanical engineer for 5+ years

·8+ years minimum overall experience

·Mechanical design experience must include:

oHVAC system design for a wide variety of mechanical system types

oPlumbing system design

oHeating/cooling/ventilation calculations

oSpecification creation/editing

oConstruction administration activities

oProficiency with AutoCAD and Revit

·Project management experience must include:

oMust have been managing projects for 2+ years

oLeading a design team and coordinating the work of multiple disciplines to deliver a completed project

oWriting proposals in response to RFPs

oCalculation of fees associated with proposal writing

·Other items

oPreference will be given to applicants who are also a registered fire protection engineer

oPreference will be given to applicants who can bring existing clients with them to EEA

oThis is an in person position (No remote work)

o40 hours per week

oProject related travel will be required. Typically within state of MN, but further travel could be necessary.
