The Impact You’ll Make
Supports Lam Research Worldwide Platforms and Mechatronics products. Requires minimal travel to Fremont and various customer site locations including periodic overseas travel. This is a working technical manager role that may need to continue to perform duties of an GPS engineer at times to include the following responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
- Provide onsite escalation support when needed as the technical expert or as escalation management
- Coordinate escalation support between GPS and RPS remotely and onsite when needed
- Review weekly active escalations with direct reports and management
- Review and report broken KPI metrics, corrective actions, repeats and preventable monthly
- Work with account teams, product groups and BD management to understand future support needs in the region
- Coordinate account training through direct reports to improve ibase through PETE initiatives
- Manage aging Escalation tickets, KPI, Ticket trending by account and tool type
- Work hand in hand with various product groups ensuring GPS org is ready to support all T3 escalations
- Managing direct reports / develop Performance Management & Development objectives and goals
- Perform yearly reviews and rate performance based on accomplishments and development
- Manages embedded training for your groups for JDP and Beta tool starts creating plans for GPS involvement to support as FIF installs and RR tools worldwide
- Approve time and manage PTO request
- Create development plans with staff to support ongoing and future global needs for ibase performance
- Submit budget for T&E, training, support, etc
Who We’re Looking For

Bachelor degree or equivalent is required with 6- 8 years of management experience. An advanced degree preferred.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage by influence and drive results with all levels of the organization.

Ability to run an effective meeting with focus on identifying problems and driving results

Exceptional root cause and corrective/preventive action development skills

Strong problem solving and decision-making skills and demonstrated expertise in a formal problem-solving methodology
Preferred Qualifications

Intermediate skills in Microsoft suite (excel, word, power-point)

Strong Presentation Skills - demonstrates presentation skills, influence and effectiveness on complex content, in front of peers.

Agility to respond to questions and respond well under pressure.

Data analysis skills needed to proactively identify opportunities to improve tool performance.

Current or previous Lam Research RPS/GPS experience is a plus
