Sr. ML Ops Engineer - REMOTE WORK - 57851
Pay Range - $65 - $70/hr
We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position Sr. ML Ops Engineer to work on Remote basis.
Must Haves:-
1. 7+ years in Data Science or MLOps building and deploying models (specifically Large Language Models (LLMs))
2. Azure and Databricks experience (AWS is ok but they have to be comfortable moving to Azure which can be challenging)
3. Ability to monitor models in production
4. Python development skills
Project Details (Size, Scale, Scope):
- Day to day responsibilities:
- Building their models from scratch (no frameworks or pipelines). Creating prototypes and push into test/production to see how they perform
- Team typically spends 2-3 weeks performing research, then create workbooks for production
- Azure shop (so need to have basic knowledge of suite and how things work in this environment)
- Team uses Databricks to build and scale their ML models
- They Monitor and scale APIs
- Deploy LLMs in Production
- Building Python containers
- Detecting Model Drift
- Use Datadog to monitor cloud platform
- Supporting requirements from multiple teams
- Working closely with Data Science Team to build models off what they present
- No frameworks or pipelines, they build from scratch

- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
- Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path
- Experience in data engineering, MLOps, or big data solutions deployment
- Experience with a relevant programming language, like Python, R, or Rust

Responsibilities
- The people who love this role are software engineers who enjoy customer conversations and solving customer problems during the presales cycle
- They are developers who like to solve customer problems through architecture, presentations and training
- They are also software engineers who use Python to develop Kubernetes operators and Linux open source infrastructure-as-code
- Work across the entire Linux stack, from kernel, networking, storage, to applications
- Architect cloud infrastructure solutions like Kubernetes, Kubeflow, OpenStack, and Spark
- Deliver solutions either on-premise or in public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Collect customer business requirements and advise them on Ubuntu and relevant open source applications
- Grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values
- Deliver presentations and demonstrations of Ubuntu Pro and AI/ML capabilities to prospective and current clients
- Liaise with product teams to give them feedback on requirements to influence roadmap
