Our client is the corporate, e-commerce, customer service, public relations and educational presence on the Internet. The audience is consumers interested in researching and purchasing the extensive range of products and services, not limited to High-Speed Internet, Cable Television and Digital Voice. Other audience members are subscribers seeking service, job seekers and those interested in corporate or investor relations information, and customers who want to view and/or pay their bills online.
Under direction of the Manager of Application Development, this role will participate in application design, development, unit testing and implementation for the Comcast.com Web site. This position will have lead responsibility for the development of web applications in a Microsoft-based system. The person will be responsible for creating components using .Net utilizing standard Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), writing unit test cases and supporting the Testing and Quality Assurance phases of the software development lifecycle.
The candidate also will be responsible for taking ownership of several modules/components and will work as part of a team of managers, analysts, developers, 3rd party software vendors, field personnel, and senior management to ensure the successful operation of the web site and all interfacing applications.

- 5+ years experience in leading teams of software engineers developing Software applications using Microsoft Technologies.
- 7+ years experience in developing Software applications using Microsoft Technologies.
- 5+ years experience in Microsoft .Net Technologies and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- 5+ years experience in ASP.Net, C# and SQL Server, Webservice development

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivery of all team/project detailed/implementation designs from Solution Requirements Documentation
- Lead solution architects & lead developers in defining detailed designs and establishing implementation roadmap (TFS tasks)
- Guide overall cross team/project implementations
- Work with QA team/project lead to identify all projects testing scope
- Responsible for strategic implementation
- Work with the Enterprise Architecture Team and 3rd party software vendors for system integration.
- Work with Developers and Architects to develop and implement detailed designs
- Provide mentoring/technical guidance to teams of Developers during design, coding, testing, and implementing software utilizing standard Integrated Development Environments (IDES)
- Support Business Partners, Requirements, System Testing, and Production Support teams
Recruit, build, and nurture high performance team - Interact with external vendors and internal IT development groups to attain technical implementations of business goals.
- 10-15% Travel required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Participate in SAIDs / JADs from an application perspective
- Work with Solution designers to define technical requirements
- Responsible for strategic implementation
- Assumes solution design responsibilities for team intake requests
- 5+ years experience in leading teams of software engineers developing Software applications using Microsoft Technologies.
- 7+ years experience in developing Software applications using Microsoft Technologies.
- 5+ years experience in Microsoft .Net Technologies and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- 5+ years experience in ASP.Net, C# and SQL Server, Webservice development
- 5+ years experience in complex web projects in a corporate environment on a customer-facing Web site including performance optimization.
- 3+ years experience in ecom / corporate websites.
- Design and Architecture using object-oriented methodologies
- Ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on a site that receives several million visits per month with a heavy focus on e-commerce.
- Experience in developing applications with Enterprise standards and Microsoft .net technology background.
- Strong speaking, writing, collaboration and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Excellent skills in emotional intelligence, influencing, and persuasion with individual and group stakeholders.
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience in Cable / Telecom is a plus.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines; extensive, directly-related experience may be considered in-lieu of degree(s).
