We are seeking an experienced Sr .NET Developer to join our Application Development team, with the option for a hybrid or remote working arrangement
This role is specifically project-oriented, focusing on enhancing and monitoring various energy-tracking systems associated with the electrical grid and energy marketing platforms.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement new functionalities, improvements, and fix bugs for both internal and external websites and Web APIs.
- Engage in Agile SDLC processes, including requirement analysis, Sprint Planning/Reviews/Retrospectives, and Backlog Grooming among others.
- Maintain and upgrade web applications, serving both internal and customer-facing needs.
- Provide support for .NET interfaces and integration issues.
- Collaborate with .NET development peers on UI improvements and bug resolution.
- Contribute to testing efforts for web development, covering both API and UI aspects.
- Assist in creating technical documentation related to web development projects, covering areas like database design, UI design, and Interface documentation.
- Learn and understand various acronyms and terminologies relevant to the project.
- Perform other tasks as assigned, including administrative duties.
- Self-motivated with the ability to deliver results and troubleshoot issues with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact constructively with team members across various levels and functions.
- An understanding of the organizational structure and business functions.
- A continual learner, keen to stay updated with the latest in business and technology trends.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience as a .NET developer in agile environments.
- Proven familiarity with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrated capability in debugging and maintaining intricate systems, especially those developed by others, with limited documentation.
- A readiness to grow in the role, expanding both technical and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in .NET framework (version 4 and above), C#, and Sitecore 9 or 10 Experience (CMS) – with at least 2 recent project involvements.
- Experience with cloud environments, notably Sitecore Cloud, Azure, or similar platforms.
- Skills in MVC with Razor, OOPS concepts, IOC, ORM techniques, and ASP.NET with WebAPI.
- Familiarity with C# unit testing frameworks such as nUnit and SpecFlow.
- Over 5 years of experience with SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, including DDL, DML, writing queries, and stored procedure creation.
- Experience with IoC Containers such as Unity, Structure Map, Ninject, AutoFac.
- ORM expertise in Entity Framework, nHibernate.
- Proficiency in Angular 2 and above (TypeScript).
