Job Summary
The Sr. Partnership Data Analyst will work within Global Partnerships and the L.A. Kings, responsible for aggregating and analyzing data across business units to provide actionable insights for our Global Partnership Sales and Activation teams. This will be achieved through managing big data sets, creating reports and dashboards, and clearly communicating insights and recommendations. The role will collaborate closely with the Global Partnerships teams, L.A. Kings partnership stakeholders, AEG data engineers, and AEG business intelligence professionals to improve partnership sales revenue and activation efficiency. Responsibilities include developing impactful data visualizations, deploying short- and long-term partner analyses, and optimizing data workflows, reports, and systems. This role is based in Los Angeles and requires in-office availability four days a week (with one remote day). Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available for this position.
Essential Functions
- Maintain new and existing partnership inventory, ensuring all partnership elements are measured, capturing results, and yielding consistent data for analysis. Analyze and communicate partner-agnostic and partner- specific insights, trends, and recommendations across a variety of sponsorship inventory and brand partners/sponsors.
- Identify and recommend strategies that will result in improved partner retention/renewal and revenue optimization. Communicate recommendations to leaders across the sporting teams, partnership sales, and partnership
- Organize, interpret, translate, and present data from external data providers (e.g., YouGov, Scarborough, GumGum, Wasserman, Nielsen) to extract actionable insights and identify new opportunities for current/prospective partners. Track organizational and industry-wide digital trends and identify any innovative programs, activations or concepts to deliver additional value to partners and develop category
- Aggregate data from multiple owned sources to create, summarize, and visualize actionable insights about partnership performance. Use tools such as PowerBI, SQL, SAS, R, or Python to effectively structure and manage data that informs insights and recommendations for improving sales and rate card valuation, pricing methodology, and activation
- Assist with broader market research efforts by developing, executing, and analyzing group research tactics (like surveys or focus groups) that provide partnership insights to business
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred) Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or Analytics
- 4-6 years Related work experience
- Experience with statistical programming packages like SAS, SPSS, R, or Python
- Experience, proficiency, and working knowledge of SQL and data warehousing
- Experience with working with ticketing or transactional data
- Experience with database systems such as AWS or Azure
- Experience using BI tools (PowerBI/Tableau/Looker) to create interactive data visualizations and
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to create relationships and work independently
- Ability to learn required business systems
- Proven capabilities to identify actionable insight from data
- Ability to translate results from data into clear, concise summaries/presentations
- Team player who enjoys working in a high achieving and innovative environment, with a commitment to be top of class
- Knowledge of statistical programming package, such as SAS, SPSS or R

Pay Scale: $67,000 - $98,257
