A dynamic professional engineering consulting firm is looking for a Sr. Pipeline Integrity Data Analyst to spearhead critical evaluations and enhancements in its pipeline integrity processes. The ideal candidate has extensive experience analyzing inline inspection (ILI) data and a strong understanding of associated technologies. Working collaboratively, the new team member will be instrumental in developing methodologies, conducting detailed analyses, and ensuring the robustness and compliance of pipeline operations while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency across all projects.

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze all ILI reports (UTWM, USCD, HRD), verification of digs, data integration, ILI tool tolerances, development of unity plots, measured field findings, failure pressure ratios, and any other finding that could affect the integrity of the pipeline.
- Develop a Corrosion Growth Rate Analysis (CGRA) procedure to calculate corrosion growth rates between successive ILIs and develop pipeline remediation recommendations to assure integrity of the pipeline is maintained.
- The CGRA procedure must include ILI data matching methods used to analyze data from successive ILIs, methodologies for growth rate calculations and any errors from comparing ILI data.
- Must be able to identify the projected date when remaining indications will reach certain metal loss thresholds (ex. 70% or greater of nominal wall), taking into account for reported ILI depth, tool tolerance and corrosion growth rates.
- Conduct remaining strength of pipe calculation for all metal loss anomalies in accordance with the Modified B31G method as described in ASME B31G Manual for Determining the Remaining Strength of Corroded Pipelines.
- Conduct predicted failure pressure calculations using the crack-like flaw evaluation method ASME FFS-1/API 579-1 for metal loss anomalies that intersects or is within one (1) inch (circumferentially) of the longitudinal seam weld.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Direct experience with oil & gas pipeline inline inspection (ILI) data analysis
- Experience and understanding of the following technologies: Ultrasonic Wall Measurement (UTWM), Ultrasonic Shear Wave Crack Detection (USCD), and High Resolution Deformation (HRD)
- Must be personable, have expert-level MS Excel experience, ability to develop concise reports for clients and state/federal regulators; Prefer someone that has strong Power BI and/or Tableau user experience
- Must be a US citizen; pass background exam and DOT drug & alcohol testing if requested
