The Position:
The Marketing Arm is seeking a Sr. Planner to join our Planning, Insights & Performance Science team in downtown Dallas. The PIPS team is focused on delivering best-in-class marketing strategy, communication ideas, engagement programs, analytics and measurement for our clients. This position will help lead various aspects of the work, from planning, strategic and conceptual program development, and building of business cases. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, curious, self-motivated and hard working.
This person will be responsible for guiding marketing, communications and engagement strategy through extensive understanding of client business situations, consumers, brand attributes, trends, and category insights for several existing clients as well as new business proposals. The selected candidate will support AORs across telecom, CPG, entertainment, etc. for consumer and marketing insight as well as contribute to new business / RFP pitch research/insight.
This person will be responsible for synthesizing this knowledge to inspire creative teams through tight briefs and will partner closely with the creative teams to guide the work into fruition. The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator in both written and verbal communications and comfortable translating data to insights and stories to ultimately be delivered to internal and external clients.
Our senior planner candidate will demonstrate a hybrid analytical/high concept approach to solving sometimes-complex problems and exhibit an intellectual curiosity and passion for immersing themselves in all aspects of a project to discover the right solution. The senior planner will also be asked to mentor junior staff - through education and ongoing informal feedback for development.
