Pay Range: $80.00 - $90.00per hr / Salary Target: $160K - $180K

Job Description:
Our client is looking for a strong Sr. Platform Engineer to bring expertise to their internally produced go-to-market cloud products. You will be working exclusively on Azure cloud applications as well as Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps.Experience with design and requirements gathering would be ideal.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years working as a Platform Engineer in an Azure Cloud environment
• Background in Software Development - coding with OOP languages (C#, Java, Python, GoLang, etc.)
• Recent hands-on experience working with public cloud infrastructure
• Expertise with Linux and containerization
• Experience with GitOps based workflows
• Kubernetes in production experience, as a developer and operations
• Getting software into production into Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform preferred but Ansible is ok)
• SQL and/or PostgreSQL Database experience
• Experience with messaging systems and APIs

• AWS, GCP
• Experience building, debugging, and configuring CI/CD pipelines.
• FluxCD Continuos delivery tool preferred
• Experience deploying and operating applications, Java or C# preferred
• BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
