Sr Principal Scientist - Bioinformatics at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

The Molecular Profiling Data Science group is seeking a data scientist with experience in computational biology and genomic data analysis. We collaborate with colleagues across the research and clinical development teams and play a key scientific role in using innovative analytics to empower decisions in advancing our pipeline.

• Work with therapeutic focus area leadership to develop analytics strategy to address the gap in understanding new biology.
• Characterize molecular mechanisms and identify novel therapeutic targets and pathways from mouse model and human clinical samples.
• Manage and integrate knowledge from prior experiments & biological databases through existing or novel algorithms.
• Make scientific contributions in genomic technology and quantitative sciences at the theoretical and empirical level.

• Bring innovative thinking to large-scale omics data analysis.
• Have a strong work ethic and are proactive in providing solutions to foster scientific collaborations and drive projects forward within Regeneron.
• Value collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills.

To be considered for this role, you must have a PhD degree in computational biology or data science with molecular biology background (or vice versa) with 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience in analyze, interpret, visualize genomic data (e.g. bulk/single-cell RNA/TCR/BCR-seq), as well as a track record of high-impact publications. Expertise in machine learning and algorithm development.
