This position would be based in the Aurora, Colorado area at Buckley AFB.This role performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:Development of products and CONOPs for the 24x7 operation of a mission-critical systemTroubleshooting of real-world operations issuesTrending of operational data and simulation of products and CONOPs before transition to operationsReturning systems to an operational state, ensuring the health and safety of the systems while maximizing mission availabilityReview or develop standard operating procedures that are executed real-time on the operational system for standard events and anomaly recoveriesDeveloping scripts and products to automate the operations of complex systemsDevelop suites of operational products for newly delivered systemsThis position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work. Basic QualificationsMust have an active U.S
Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance with an adjudicated Polygraph at time of applicationMust have bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; 7 years with a Master's degree; 4 years with a PhDMust have the above minimum experience with:Prior operations and/or systems engineering experienceLinux OSScripting languages either PERL or MATLABAbility to work a non-traditional work week that will include occasional 12-hour shifts and weekends per business needPreferred Qualifications Experience working in a geographically diverse team and matrix organizationExperience with Atlassian tool suite (e.g

#definingpossibleSalary Range: $127,000.00 - $190,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives
