About the Job
The Sr Process Engineer is responsible for the analysis of methods, processes, tools, and systems required for the company’s manufacturing, and fabrication activities. Defines and develops the most efficient manufacturing process methods, parameters, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Developing CNC machining and Injection Molding will be key focus areas of responsibility.
- Performs complex research and analysis tasks to determine best process design approach.
- Involved in the selection of the most appropriate and cost-effective manufacturing engineering tools, machines, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
- Investigates manufacturing costs and suggests manufacturing process adjustments and improvements.
- Determines equipment requirements to ensure equipment is compatible with process.
- Selects new manufacturing processes and may introduce new equipment to existing process.
- Provides technical assistance for new process implementations.
- Follows existing documentation practices and continuously looks for improvements.
- Operates under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

- Must have ability to work in a team environment with other departments such as Production and Materials Management.
- Ability to analyze situations and determine logical and reasonable solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal with team members and all levels of the organization.
- Must have the ability to multitask in a challenging environment.
- Proven project and time management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Must have a high level of attention to detail and excellent critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of materials and material requirements.
- Ability to promote continuous improvement priorities while achieving desired results.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve set goals on time.
- Knowledge of CNC manufacturing and Injection molding processes a plus.
Work Environment/Physical Demands/Equipment Used
This position is in a manufacturing facility which requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, squatting, twisting, and bending. This position requires approximately 50% of time spent on the production floor and 50% in a general office environment. Requires lifting to 50 lbs.

- Safety Glasses and Safety Toe Shoes to be always worn when on the production floor.
Salary Range: $90,000-95,000 annually
