The Sr. Product Director - Solution Management is a strategic thinker that is responsible for working closely with our Product Strategy team to fully understand the product business justification, client needs and requirements, vendor options, technological options and the competitive landscape. The Software Product Director collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, designers, and marketing professionals, to ensure the successful product solution is identified, vetted and validated so that clear, concise and complete features can be provided to the execution team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Product Strategy, Research and Vision:
- In collaboration with the Product Strategy team, develop and communicate a clear product solution vision aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and stay abreast of industry trends to inform product solution strategy.
- Build the Solution Roadmap in alignment with Epic Roadmap (Client Facing) for distribution to the Product and Development Team
Progressive Elaboration
- Leadership of Solution Planning to deliver on EPIC Success Criteria including:
- Test Plan/Strategy (UAT, Performance, E2E testing)
- Customer Validation Plan/Strategy
- Solution Features
- Dependencies and impact analysis to system and processes
- Understanding and accounting for solution impacts to customer onboarding, billing and cost to implement
- Understand Compliance Requirements and adherence
- Define how to measure client AV, success measures
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead a multidisciplinary product team, fostering collaboration and a shared understanding of product goals.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including executives, to align product strategies with overall business objectives.
- Provide guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the product development life cycle.
Customer Focus:
- Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences through customer feedback, market analysis, and user research.
- Champion a customer-centric approach in product development, ensuring that user experience and satisfaction are top priorities.
The Ideal Candidate:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related industry experience
Experience:
- Success as Product Manager, Product Owner or Sr. Business Analyst developing or launching new software features
- A minimum of six years’ experience in software, system and/or business analysis.
- Knowledge of financial industry and/or credit union operations.
Specialized Skills:
- Strong Soft Skills to quickly gain the support of internal, clients and stakeholders
- Ability to interface with credit union and internal management for the purpose of creating business plans
- Strong organizational skills with ability to develop strategies, set objectives, and manage to results
- Proactive leadership style to identify opportunities and work across organization
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Must be able to travel 15% of the time

The starting salary range for this full-time position is $170100 - $212600 per year. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company’s discretion on an individual basis.
