Job Description
An employer is looking for Technical Product Owner. Currently, SRE is dispersed around the company in various development teams, so this teams charter is to help create standards across SRE, pull data, define metrics, identify trends, reduce NTTR, and chase big enterprise problems within SRE. This team is responsible for researching policies/standards, defining them, and then once theyre executed, there will be tickets put in development teams backlog who are in violation. The goal is to reduce P1 incidents and NTTR, as well as be proactive in development stages prior to production. There is a sister Incident Commander Team responsible for responding to major outages/incidents, and they also identify/tag in the right teams to figure out what is wrong, hops on the bridges with the stakeholders etc. they help provide data/info on what policies should be researched etc. but the goal is to be more proactive vs reactive. The team is looking for a PO to help with acceptance criteria and managing their backlog, as well as owning the SRE community platform and engagement.
Responsibilities:
Partner with architects to prioritize and implement strategies
Seek direct end user feedback to identify and define policies and standards. Synthesize the information into clear recommendations to support the development of innovative and user-centered solutions
Participate in agile ceremonies and help constantly raise the bar of the team
Provide clear direction to engineers
Understand the technology stack inside out such that you are seen as the teams SME for technical expertise
Support industry standards, regulatory compliance, and customer business requirements
Stay current with industry trends and how they might impact tools, training, and support of existing and potential customers
Works cross-functionally with business teams to help resolve pain points and reduce manual work
Continuously improve the product features and performance

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
Experience writing technical user stories
Experience managing backlog
Experience defining acceptance criteria
Experience working in an Agile SAFe environment
Experience working with scrum teams (Developers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Product Managers)
Experience or knowledge of SRE and DevOps practices
Strong written and verbal communication
Experience working across scrum teams Experience with community engagement null
