Sr. Production Planning & Inventory Control Analyst at Grifols

Responsible for managing plasma inventory, meeting pool optimization requirements, and modeling Internal/External manufacturing pools.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient and effective management of plasma supply chain, optimizing the availability and quality of plasma materials


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast requirements, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate logistics and operational activities


• Track and analyze supply chain KPIs to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements


• Lead and support supply chain improvement projects through data analysis, process optimization, and innovation initiatives

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field (Supply Chain Management etc.)


• A minimum of 4 years of related experience required, preferably in a highly regulated or high-volume environment

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

• Must have strong ability to follow up on clues and leads in researching matters and to exhibit clear thinking in evaluating atypical situations. Knowledge of inventory control system, Incident Tracking system, SAP, Microsoft Office, etc. Must possess strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to evaluate situations in terms of potential risks and make recommendations to minimize, deter or eliminate the risks.


• Lead person on various projects as assigned

• Strong business acumen with comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes


• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and driving results


• Demonstrated success in data mining, data analysis, and visualization to support decision-making


• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively


• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills


• Programming experience and ERP system experience preferred


• APICS, PMI, or Six Sigma certification preferred.
