Position Overview |
We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to support our team. The position encompasses overseeing division projects, enhancing communication strategies, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. SharePoint Support, technical and legal support, knowledge management support, program/project support and executive admin support services for the DHS S&T Knowledge Management Office. Telework is authorized and will be allowed if the employee resides in the DC Metro area. |
Essential Job Function |
- Supports the development and maintenance of SharePoint library, information, management plans, processes, repositories, and systems.
- Oversees the development of contractor staff, and alignment of the staff to the Government’s requirement at the task order level.
- Provides and ensures quality and timely services and delivery of contractual items under the contract terms and conditions.
- Serves as point of contact with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer (CO).
- Performs day-to-day management of contract execution, possibly involving multiple groups of personnel at multiple locations.
- Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports demonstrating task order progress and delegates responsibilities to subordinates and oversees successful contract/task order completion.
- Maintains effective client interface with the COR.
- Motivates contractor staff and ensures contractor staff are adequately trained and fully understands the work environment.
- Contributes to the evaluation, analysis, and development of recommended solutions.
- Resolves complex problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of subject matter related to the designated field or discipline.
- Applies principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions.
- Areas of expertise may include business process reengineering, performance management, statistical process control, individual and organizational assessment and evaluation, process modeling and simulation, strategic and business planning, change management, organizational development, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and situational awareness and decision support.
- A program manager will be responsible for assisting the OES Front Office in their management and oversight of the OES Divisions and their respective projects.
- Work across multiple projects to highlight, identify, and build on interdependencies with OES.
- Work with the OES leadership to assist their management of individual projects.
- Assist in the facilitation of communication between cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Division Directors to ensure that programs/projects align with OES overall strategy and management plan.
- Work with OES Leadership to develop a robust communications plan to deliver, monitor and manage internal and external communications.
- Executive Administration Support Executive administrative support is required as part of this requirement.
- Provide professional support for KMO.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelors Science degree or Bachelors of Arts degree.
- 10 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree, plus 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency using Microsoft office applications (Power Bi, Excel, Power Apps, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
- Secret Clearance with DHS Suitability.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Understand the Defense Travel System (DTS).
