Summary:
The Senior Project Manager leverages Huntington project methodology, provides leadership that promotes and supports development, implementation and completion of medium to large size projects. These projects are typically characterized as having high visibility and risk, involve multiple business units and impact multiple software applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategically lead CRB’s approach to managing account holds, ensuring compliance with policy and procedures and an exceptional customer experience
- Oversee governance of holds policy across multiple operational teams, ensuring compliance and supporting process improvements as needed
- Analyzing reports daily to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and present executive updates on the holds process, fielding questions as the expert on account holds current state and opportunities for optimization
- Ensure all account holds comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices by auditing processes and working closely with relevant departments.
- Work with teams such as Product, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and the Experience Management Office to align on processes, share insights, and ensure a unified approach to account holds.
- Maintain repository of policies and procedures related to account holds and provide guidance to various teams to ensure consistency in execution.
- Identify/Lead continuous improvement efforts to drive ongoing process effectiveness and efficiency (e.g. process improvements and automation)
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years proven experience in a banking compliance or bank operations role.
- Experience presenting to leadership, inclusive of building PowerPoints and crafting the key message.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookups, etc).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in metrics reporting and data analysis.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tableau experience – including dashboard creation and Tableau Prep (calculated fields, data cleansing)
- Experience helping customers manage banking accounts, specifically regarding account holds, is a plus
