As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing complex and high-profile projects, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to define project objectives, develop project plans, and drive project execution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing large-scale projects, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage highly visible and high-impact projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
- Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies
- Effectively communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including regular project updates and status reports
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and drive resolution
- Ensure effective collaboration and communication among project team members and stakeholders
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
- Manage and track project budgets, financials, and resource allocations
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, best practices, and organizational standards
- Drive continuous process improvement and champion the adoption of project management tools and technologies
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in IT or software development
- In-depth understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with cloud migration tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud architecture, security, and networking concepts
- Understanding of containerization and serverless technologies
- Experience with Agile and Iterative project management methodologies
- In depth knowledge of SharePoint and migrating it from hosted datacenter to cloud solution
