Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage APQP documentation to support the Product Realization Process, ensuring adherence to customer requirements (e.g., FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
- Maintain detailed quality documentation, ensuring it meets organizational specifications for control and accessibility.
- Collaborate with customer teams to resolve quality concerns and issues efficiently.
- Lead the development and maintenance of formal quality systems (ISO 9001 & IATF 16949).
- Champion continuous improvement and best practices to enhance quality systems and processes.
- Solve complex quality challenges using advanced tools, facilitating root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Oversee supplier quality, ensuring gage design approval, PPAP submission, and product quality meet customer specifications.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of quality.
- Develop and execute plans to ensure zero issues during product launches and maintain high standards in manufacturing quality.
- Estimate gage costs and manage gage procurement, including design approvals and customer alignment.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Extensive knowledge of KDCs, SPC, MSA, and AIAG processes.
- Experience developing APQP documentation and executing PPAP submissions.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Ability to lead complex problem-solving efforts and manage supplier quality processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with launching new programs and managing pre/post-SOP processes.
- Expertise in gage procurement, including quoting, design, and approval processes.
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to mentor, coach, and provide training to team members at all levels.
