Sunshine Homecare is looking for a full-time Senior Recruiter for our Headquarters office in New City, NY. Our agency has won numerous awards for staff satisfaction and patient care excellence. The Senior recruiter provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to regional technical recruiters and support staff who provide recruiting support to hiring managers across several states.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Fills senior-level positions in operations, management, and as well registered nurses and Licensed practical nurses.
- Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
- Works closely with branch managers in other regions to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs and coordinate on recruitment national-level initiatives.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field a plus.
- Five years of recruiting experience required.
- Healthcare recruiting experience a plus.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
- SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
