Sr Risk Analyst Property - Decatur, IL
Global Property Program Duties:
+ Data collection to compose, annually, the SOV (Summary of Values) as part of the Global Property Program renewal process, of all plus than 1.000 business units globally in partnership with Captive´s accounting team, business units controllers, property appraisal service providers and BI calculation service providers, checking every single location that belongs to ADM and third-parties where ADM has inventory deposited reviewing IBM codes, addresses, business segments, checking the need of include or exclude locations, calculation of replacement costs of buildings, machinery and equipment (made by business units controllers) plus business interruption calculation of each location and inventory/stock positions (in USD);
+ Promote, after SOV data collection process, data review with all parts involved;
+ Provide Power BI and analysis reports, comparing past SOVs and all related variances around it;
+ Coordinate the certificates issuing process of various locations along the globe in partnership with Captive, brokers and fronting insurers;
+ Coordination of Global Property Premium allocation process, including provide guidance to various groups inside ADM about the methodology adopted by the company in partnership with Captive controllership and, eventually, consultants;
+ Responsible for analyze, record and keep up to date all reinsurance contracts, providing a report summarizing the key elements of each contract;
+ Responsible for all payment processes around Global Property Program – policies, endorsements, complementary services, including, broking, property appraisals, BI calculation/allocation and others;
+ Responsible for organize, record and keep all relevant information related to the Global Property Program working in partnership with Loss Prevention coordinator to keep all relevant data updated;
+ Review all Captive´s insurance contracts related with property programs and also all related policy summaries;
+ Coordinate all historical information to regarding to Property program – loss ratio, premiums, taxes, vendors and adjusters expenses with the goal to control the financial performance of the program in general and also to keep under control captive´s financials;
+ General coordination of the entire program according to the need during the course of the policy term;
+ Coordination of all regions (NAM, EMEA, LATAM and APAC), regarding to all subjects related to Global Property Program, responsible for provide guidance to global and regional colleagues about the overall program functioning;
Property Claims Coordination Duties:
+ Provide initial guidance to all business units all over the globe where claims occurred. Will be responsible for sending of the necessary forms and guidance documents to the affected business unit
+ Provide immediate notification about the occurred claim to the Global RM Director and Global Property RM, Captive´s managing and adjusting teams and Brokers;
+ Coordinate the inspection visit with broker, Captive´s adjusters and business units affected;
+ After the inspection, coordinate efforts with Captive´s adjusting team to provide, as quick as possible, the initial RFIs for Property Damage and Business Interruption (if applicable);
+ Coordinate the adjusting process among adjusters and affected business units, reporting the progress of each claim to Property Risk Manager and Risk Director, Captive Controllership Team and others;
+ Control and keep updated records of all information related to the claims, also keep updated reports, including power BI and other applicable controls and reports;
+ Care of all necessary documentation to justify captive payments like – adjusting reports, engineering reports, proof of loss and other pertinent documents;
+ Submit to the captive the proper request of indemnity, following the approval processes in place;
Builders Risk Program & Claim Duties:
+ Reorganization of the overall Builders Risk Program, through controls, reports and equivalent analysis;
+ In partnership with the global broker, map all projects inside ADM where Builders Risk applies and coordinate effort to have such projects under the proper set of coverages;
+ Coordinate efforts to collect necessary data around business units responsible for such process, coordinate the quoting process with the broker, policy issuing and delivery to business units;
+ Provide guidance to business units how to pay the correspondent premium of such policies;
Required Background/Skills to Develop the Function:
+ Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Finance, Administration, Economics or correlated degrees;
+ Technical certifications, MBA and other applicable academical background will be considered differentials;
+ Proven experience, of at least 5 years, with Global or Large Property Programs and correspondent claims coordination in complex segments like agricultural, food, animal nutrition, mining and others;
+ Technical knowledge in adjusting process (PD and BI), is desirable;
+ Technical knowledge in Property policy wordings, captive structures, insurance and reinsurance structure, also technical alternatives applicable for complexes programs, is desirable;
+ Fluence in English (written, speaking and listening);
+ Other language skills will be considered as a differential for this global position;
+ The professional has to have very good communication speaking and written skills, objectivity, problem solving and results driven;
+ High level of analytical mindset, attentive to details, good comprehension about the effect of the work developed in ADM business and strategy is essential
