Sr RS Upholstery Tech (3262) - Entegee

Summary: Seeking a Sr RS Upholstery Tech with expertise in aircraft upholstery, fabrication, and installation.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 4 years experience in upholstery including 2 years in aircraft upholstery or 6 years commercial upholstery experience

• Advanced knowledge of upholstery and sewing processes, products, and custom carpet installation

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of inspection and process specifications

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and install seat covers, curtains, assemblies, and subassemblies

• Interpret material specifications and design/engineering drawings

• Sew, fabricate, and install covers for aircraft interior panels adhering to safety, quality, and productivity standards

• Use the material tracking system (Corridor) for parts demand creation, squawk tracking, and work sign-off

• Cut and install advanced custom design carpets with unique patterns based on designs/drawings

• Accept Lead responsibilities when needed; oversee projects and coordinate tasks with the Lead technician

• Conduct safety audits; assist team members with safety audits

• Maintain shop equipment and associated JSAs

• Comply with Safety, 5S, housekeeping policies; ensure protection of aircraft interiors (PTP)

• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce material cost, cycle time, labor hours using Lean Six-Sigma tools

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
