About the Job
The Sr. Sales & Solutions Lead, Project Cargo will be instrumental in driving the growth and expansion of KBX Logistics - Project Cargo services. This role encompasses business development, customer relationship management, and collaboration with marketing and sales teams to achieve strategic objectives. The successful candidate will lead efforts to penetrate key markets and contribute to the overall value creation for KBX.
Our Team
You will work closely with a diverse team of sales, marketing, and logistics professionals, as well as internal stakeholders from various Koch companies. By leveraging cross-functional collaboration, you will develop and implement innovative project cargo solutions that enhance our logistics capabilities, drive market penetration, and contribute to the overall growth of KBX Logistics.
What You Will Do
- Responsibility for the growth and expansion of KBX Logistics' Project Cargo services.
- Lead market expansion efforts, focusing on internal Koch companies, as well as external growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance go-to-market strategies to highlight project cargo capabilities, services and value to customers.
- Serve as the primary contact for Project Cargo sales opportunities, ensuring alignment with KBX clients.
- Represent KBX at industry forums and events.
- Ensure compliance with Koch guidelines on project cargo movements.
- Collaborate with execution teams on procurement agreements for logistics services, including ocean, barge, and trucking.
- Partner with KBX technology teams to address system needs for project cargo.
- Expected travel up to 50%
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience growing sales and developing relationships within the project cargo, capital project logistics, project freight management, heavy haul, or over-dimensional sectors
- Experience in project management and strategic thinking skills used in complex projects, including multi-modal & international.
- Experience conducting or leading negotiations.
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience working in the project cargo or logistics sector.
- Advanced degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience attending or participating in industry forums and/or organizations
- Experience in a sales or customer support role.
- Experience leveraging revenue intelligence tools.
