Sr. SAP ABAP/Developer System Technical SME at ProRec Resource Solutions, LLC

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP/Developer System Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a minimum of 8 years of expertise in a range of SAP-related products, platforms, and development activities. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical proficiency in SAP ABAP programming and development, as well as experience with SAP design and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, code, unit test, debug, and implement SAP ABAP applications, utilizing development standards and methodologies.
• Deliver innovative, high-quality solutions for customers, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents, and assist in defining and documenting SAP Best Practices.
• Work as part of the Enterprise Development team, performing code reviews with peers and ensuring adherence to quality programming techniques.
• Create, update, and maintain system documentation.
• Stay current with the latest best practices for S/4 HANA and BTP (Business Technology Platform) development.

Required Experience:

• SAP ABAP/4 Programming: BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, Workflow, LSMW, Reports, SAPScript, user exits, BDC coding, and interfaces.
• Application ABAP experience: Proficiency in ECC, SRM, BW, SOLMAN, FIORI, and GRC.
• SAP ABAP/UI5/HTML experience: Hands-on expertise in SAP UI5 development using BTP and Fiori.
• JAVA Development: Experience with SAP NetWeaver Portal, LVM (Landscape Virtualization Management), and Process Orchestration (PO).
• Develop and maintain detailed SAP design and technical specification documents, aligning with SAP Best Practices.

Position Duties:

• Collaborate with project teams to design and implement custom SAP solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP ABAP development and system integrations.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to SAP development best practices.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA and BTP development best practices is essential for success in this role.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
