Summary
Responsible for managing Site Services Indirect projects comprised of multiple scopes of work, products and services ranging in value from $50m to $250m. Developing and maintaining the client relationship, safety management and driving the profitable execution of Site Services projects. Maximize the use of Assets (people, tools, equipment, scaffolding and services) to upsell and enhance the projects original as-sold value. Develop and foster growth opportunities for the employees within the Operations organization, be an advocate for change management and make decisions that are in the best interest of company.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Corporate Responsibility
- Designated Site Safety Proctor for the Organization. Drive safe operations by supporting safety themes, audits, leading by example, observations and implementing change.
- Facilitates monthly financial and operational performance reviews
- Resides on the Site Managers Advisory Council
- Act as a conduit / liaison between Transactional, StrikeForce, and NextStep to improve use of assets and ensure client delivery is executed seamlessly.
- Facilitate succession plan and conduct training.
- Assist Commercial with scope development and review of estimates and contracts.
Personnel

· Motivate employees and help them understand what is possible
· Continue education on the industry and practices to promote improvements in Site Services execution and operations.
· Develop the next level of leaders within the organization by providing direction, mentorship and stretch assignments within the Strikeforce organization.
Risk Management
· Responsible for accuracy and review of project estimates developed for Site Services proposals.
· Review contracts to ensure risk to minimized, prior to acceptance and signing. Review to ensure management is aware of any contractual risk/obligations, insurance requirements or scopes of work that may create additional risks/opportunities.
· Assist Commercial Development in proposals, execution plans, pricing strategies and negotiation tactics for existing/new/upcoming work.
Requirements
Project Execution
- Enforce project execution standards as identified in the Site Services Execution Manual (SSEM), Key deliverables;
- Uphold the integrity of branding for both assets and personnel.
- Ensure there is an effective transfer of responsibility between Commercial (Sales) and operations.
- Facilitate a detailed alignment session between all stakeholders before the start of any project and ensure the downstream client alignment session is conducted prior to/or beginning the execution of services.
- Ensure mobilization plans are established and followed, effectively delivering the suite of products and services.
- Establish financial forecasting process that mitigates financial problems and continually delivers a forecast of cost to complete.
- Conduct a monthly project financial and execution review with Operations Manager to identify performance enhancements, eliminate leakage and measure financial performance of “As Sold”
- Develop a commercial execution plan and summary that aligns the site management team with the contract.
- Ensure the site management team has a clear and concise objective on upselling.
- Establish and manage project KPIs to maximize project returns.
- Manage projects to achieve maximum asset utilization and profitability while meeting client/owner/project needs. Ensure projects are staffed appropriately.
- Ensure projects are supported on site or through a consolidated project support and contract admin function with timely fulfillment, invoicing, and customer response times.
Typical Minimum Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eleven (11) years* of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to thirteen (13) years* if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Working Conditions
• Generally favorable indoor office workspace, and/or;
• Various levels of environmental conditions including but not limited to project worksites and vendor/client facilities which may have temporary office space, moving mechanical parts and vibration; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and extreme temperatures and high noise levels
Preferred Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in business preferred
• Eleven (11) years’ experience in construction equipment industry
• Eight (8) years’ experience in management, profit/loss
• Experience with sales bids and presentations
• Proficient computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs
• Skilled in multi-function managing
• Mathematical/budgeting aptitude
• Creative problem solver
• Extensive knowledge of company’s fleet and construction equipment in general
• Familiar with work processes necessary to successfully run sales, parts, service and rental aspects of the branch
• Excellent communications and negotiation skills for internal and external contacts
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to effectively manage and motive members
