Job Description:
The client requires the assistance of a contract resource to serve as a Senior Build/Release Administrator to support the development, Automation, and implementation of portfolio applications. This position will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the infrastructure and environment management, build/deploy processes for the client and Child Welfare applications, and troubleshooting build related issues for the portfolio applications.
This position is responsible for build and deploy activities in large number of test, development and production environments utilized by the portfolio program applications.
This responsibility encompasses configurations and troubleshooting of web layer, OS layer (AIX, Redhat Linux/CentOS and Windows operating systems), the IBM WebSphere with clustering, Job scheduler, Dynatrace, and other related products.
This position will also perform functions and enablement tasks which includes Automation; maintaining and using CI/CD pipelines like Copado; Supporting the creation and configuration of AWS EC2 instances using CFT scripts, gathering firewall requests where needed, and installing applications for various components; Supporting the setup of Ansible scripts for automating deployments of various applications, JobScheduler and other components.
This position will work closely with the Engineers, Operations and Maintenance Team and Database Administrators to ensure proper environmental functionality and performance.
