You'll build and maintain software tools that energize our business. You will advocate for quality, assist with architecture and development, and drive best practices for test-driven development and continuous delivery via automated testing. You'll have a dedicated leader focused on your growth and development and a tight-knit team of engineers with whom you will give and receive mentoring and coaching.
Responsiblities:
- Design, maintain, and improve test automation standards and automation framework.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts to validate the system at various phases of the software development lifecycle (e.g., integration test suite, regression test suite, smoke test suite, etc.).
- Work collaboratively with quality assurance, software development, and product management to ensure the creation of quality products that meet customer needs.
- Execute automated and manual tests, analyze test results, and investigate issues to identify root causes and provide insights to improve software quality.
- Evaluate manual test cases to convert them into automated test cases.
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
- Research solutions for scaling and improving performance.
- Provide mentoring and technical leadership to members of the testing team.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SDLC concepts.
- Professional experience in writing and maintaining test automation using frameworks like Jasmine/Jest or applications such as Serenity, Selenium, and Webdriver. IO.
- Professional experience with JavaScript.
- Experience designing, building, and testing microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with build management tools (e.g., GitHub, etc.).
- Knowledgeable of DevOps CI/CD practices, tooling, and pipeline management.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum software development.
- Familiarity with standard bug reporting tools such as Jira.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, including TDD (
- Familiar with version control/configuration management systems and defect tracking software.
- A self-starter with a solid ability to manage multiple tasks and project milestones is required.
- Excellent knowledge of current software testing industry tools and standard methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Education & Years of Experience:
- College degree or equivalent and 4+ years of automation experience, including testing methodology and tool experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience with designing and building web automation frameworks preferred.
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $81,400 -- $220,700 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
