implementing machine learning models and algorithms that drive automated PV system
design within our platform
You will be responsible for applying your software expertise
to refine our innovative solar design tools and optimize energy production and
consumption estimations.
In addition to technical experience, you should have communication skills to effectively
collaborate with other engineers on the team
You should be comfortable working in an
agile development environment and have experience with agile methodologies.
What You'll Do: Build and improve our automated solar design tools through machine learning.Optimize our energy production and consumption estimations.Write automated tests.Give constructive feedback to your peers through code review.
Preferred Qualifications:7+ experience in programming languages such as Python or C/C++Strong understanding designing, training, and deploying machine learning models.Experience with machine learning algorithms, techniques, and libraries, such as TensorFlow, or PyTorch.Up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning, software
engineering, and industry trends to ensure the continuous improvement of our solutions.Strong leadership and communication skills.Solar industry experience is a plus.Job OverviewThis position writes and tests software to aid in development and support of products.  Individuals in this role work with Technical Leads on software system architecture and service design and typically leads a module in the system.  This position participates in required product development process ceremonies.  Employees in this role are responsible for writing and refining technical requirements and technical design documentation.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesCodes in multiple languages in support of software products and the development of software productsConducts system testing and codes unit tests and support featuresDocuments technical requirement and other technical documentationWorks with product team to refine product requirementsCollaborates on high level software design projects and software system architecture and creates effective component level architecturesLeads software module construction from architecture and design to implementation and may lead a small team of engineers in building the modulePerforms other job-related duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceExperience: 7+ yearsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s - EngineeringThe estimated base pay for this position is $122,400.00 to $183,600.00 per year
