Software Development Manager of ML Frameworks & Ecosystems you will lead the team that develops and extends Neuron support for leading ML frameworks including PyTorch and JAX
You will develop and deliver the framework plugins and libraries that enable a great user experience for developing and optimizing models on Trainium and Inferentia accelerators, and work closely with the open source ecosystem to drive improvements to enable models port seamlessly across accelerators.You will work closely with the Neuron compiler, training and inference optimization teams, ML model developers and users to deliver best performance on top AI models.You should have an established background in AI Frameworks and Machine Learning infrastructure such as PyTorch, PyTorch/XLA, and JAX
Experience with OpenXLA is a significant plus
You should have demonstrated ability to work with open source communities to influence future community direction, a strong technical understanding and a motivation to achieve results
Key job responsibilitiesResponsible for the full life cycle of developing and releasing JAX and Pytorch framework support for AWS Neuron.Understand current and future directions of ML framework development, with a focus on enabling and optimizing the latest features of ML frameworks.Work closely with the PyTorch and JAX community to actively drive the future directions to improve the experience of developing and optimizing ML models across multiple platforms.Develop and grow your team to meet the ever-expanding needs of the AI software ecosystem.A day in the lifeYou will work with the executive leadership and other senior management and technical leaders to define strategic directions and deliver new capabilities to ML model developers and users
