As a Software Engineer for Training systems, you will be extensively involved in:
- The design, development, and implementation of the next generation of systems used for digitizing and scheduling Training for park operations
- Integration with new and existing systems and helping establish the architectural vision for the Mobile Training Experience products
- Working with a team and individually in supporting all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Providing guidance and support to QA and product teams
- Maintaining Technical relevance and stability of the Technology stack
- Delivering high quality, maintainable, world class solutions
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience
- Experience with Angular 12 and above
- Experience with JavaScript/Typescript
- Experience designing and implementing REST Services
- Significant exposure to and demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of programming and analysis including design patterns, version control best practices, systems requirements, and deployment protocols
- Ability to identify problems and opportunities, and champion solutions within the delivery organization
- Ability to complete tasks on time and in budget with high quality within a climate of frequent market change and shifting needs; ability to do so with minimal management oversight
- Ability to deliver resilient, scalable, high-performance, secure software solutions
- Bachelor of Computer Science degree or equivalent.
- Experience working with software delivery teams (including geographically distributed teams)
- Experience developing web applications on cloud platforms
- Experience with APIs designed to interact with relational databases
- Experience with UI/UX design and development
- Experience with application performance and monitoring best practices including use of profiling, logging, and monitoring and alerting tools
