Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking an experienced and exceptional Sr. Software Engineer to work on PCIe, SAS/SATA, USB and other HW related areas of storage and server products. This is a key role that will give you the opportunity to expand your existing knowledge in programming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for API validation
•Perform BIOS, IPMI, API testing
•Perform software user interface, functionality, and stress testing
•Test multi node systems in VM environment
•Conduct unit testing for product development
•Prepare evaluation reports on software test findings
•Enforce software quality control
•Enforce established technology standards within our API design
•Utilize analytical skills to validate and verify software issues
•Maintain the standards set by the company

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in CS/CE/EE is required
• 8+ years of relevant work experience preferred (open to new grad)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell Script
• Experience in Linux OS using source code control systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Salary Range

$165,000 - $188,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
