Come join us as we build a best-in-class global multi-disciplinary team across artificial intelligence, machine learning, design, advanced software and hardware engineering, strategy, venture investments, sales, marketing, and partnerships.In your role as Senior Software QA Engineer at Kohler Ventures you will: Work directly with the Head of Software, software/hardware engineering team, and product teams.Build the forward-looking vision and lead the effort to ensure the entire development lifecycle takes a quality first approach.Help deploy and integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.Establish testing patterns, best practices, and increase test coverage (in partnership with engineers).Conduct technical reviews for new features and identify quality concerns.Participate in various scrum meetings to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, estimates or potential problems.Skills/RequirementsRequired Qualifications You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer.Experience with functional, regression, and end to end testing.Experience with some of test automation tools/frameworks for Node, server API such as Jest, Cucumber.Experience validating iOS, Android, or embedded firmware for IoT devices.Ability to translate business requirements into test plan and develop test automations at all layers.Minimal travel both domestic and international as needed.Availability to work outside of standard business hours if needed to be able to collaborate with teams across multiple time zones.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge in software and hardware/firmware and information security for cloud and IoT devices.Experience in development using script programming language, Python is preferred.#LI-NR1#LI-HybridApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. base salary range for this position is $114,500 - $145,450
The actual base
salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range
This will
vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience,
their education, and the work location
This position is subject to Area Salary
Differential (Cost of Living Adjustment) that ranges from 24.5%-30% of base
salary for the San Francisco Bay area
The approved base salary range including
ASD for this position is $148,850 - $189,085 depending on location
In
addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and a special
project incentive. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision and
