Sourcing Commodity Manager for GPU’s
You will be part of a highly impactful and dynamic organization collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.Responsibilities include:Primary contact and focal point to the Business Units to address all sourcing and supplier NPI management issues for the technologies assignedCollaborate with Business Unit partners to understand the long-term requirements, mapping requirements into supply base offeringsYou will lead and orchestrate the roadmap reviews between engineering and suppliers, find solutions, build proposals, and implement them to meet business requirements, striking a balance between supply continuity, cost, and deliveryDevelop and implement strategies for sourcing GPUs that align with overall corporate objectivesActs as an advocate for the Business Units to shape and evolve commodity strategyResponsible for negotiating and implementing sourcing decisions, risk assessment/mitigation and alternate technical solution developmentOversees large, complex programs consisting of multiple locations and Business UnitsWho You'll Work WithThe Global Supplier Management (GSM) Organization is an industry leader in sourcing and supplier management that enable sustained innovation and supply chain excellence

The team focus is to drive innovation as well as outstanding cost, quality and delivery; in order to accomplish this, you will work very closely with constituents across Supply Base, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing and Legal.Who You AreYou possess a combination of technical experience, and strong interpersonal communication and relationship management skills, aren’t intimidated by titles and can work with people toward a shared goal.You'll use your ability to influence, both inside and outside Cisco, to make sure we implement our strategy.BA/BS or equivalent experience Technical or MS degree10+ years of cross-functional supply chain experience5 plus years of experience with collaboration, communications, negotiations, facilitation, and contracts review5 plus years of proven experience working with the specifications, performance metrics, fabrication processes, and applications of different types of GPUsKnowledge of technological developments in AI/ML/computer vision hardware acceleration, market trends and suppliersBrings a blend of commercial competence with engineering problem-solvingExcellent presentation and communication skills including written, verbal, and listening skillsAdept at influencing decisions and developing solutions to complex business situationsStrong knowledge of supply chain management requirements at each phase of development and manufacturing process cycleAbility to work across boundaries, earning trust, taking risks and being inclusive is highly valuedInternational travel requiredWhy Cisco? #WeAreCisco

Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components
For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target
Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
