Develop robust and scalable web services and APIs in alignment with business needs
Ensure secure and efficient data interchange between systems
Collaborate with business teams to understand and translate functional requirements into technical specifications
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure application stability and performance
Understand, advocate and augment the platform principles, guidelines and standards
Mentor junior team members in best practices and standards
Optimize report definition configuration and queries for performance to ensure data integrity
Utilize diagnostics tools for continuous monitoring and timely identification of performance issues
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies as part of self-organizing teams to create a plan for the Sprint deliverables, instill quality by adhering to a definition-of-done criteria and as a result turn requirements into production ready product, service, or system providing incremental business value
Position allows for 100% remote work
Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX
Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.Job Location: Westlake, TXSalary: $149,781 to $159,781 per yearStarting compensation for this location depends on related experience

We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.What you haveJob Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s related experience, or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 3 years of experience
