Sr Staff Accountant - Laxxon Medical

Laxxon Medical, a leading pharmatechnology company, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will provide support in carrying out daily accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full cycle of accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and budgets
• Assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial processes and procedures
• Prepare and submit accurate tax filings and other statutory reports
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and tax advisors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CPA required
• Life Science industry experience preferred
• 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the biotechnology industry
• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems - QBO, Netsuite, Sage, SAP, Xero etc
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
