Sr. Structural Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is searching for a Senior Structural Engineer with a PE in the Houston Texas Area.

Required:

• • Structural engineer (PE)
  • 10-20 years of industrial experience in small/medium chemical plants and terminals
  • Candidate must have experience with small budget projects
  • Experience with equipment foundations and supports, pipe racks, access platforms, etc.
  • Primarily serve as discipline lead on a project with the possibility of multiple small projects running simultaneously
  • Duties include performing technical design, budget control and technical supervision
  • Participate in and help develop the standardization process within the Structural group
  • This person must be able to check structural packages, communicate markups to production staff and issue construction packages to client
  • Provide leadership for the structural team and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure quality, budget and schedule requirements are met (this is the PM hat)
  • Candidate must have good communication skills and be able to maintain a good relationship with clients

Location:  Houston, TX
Duration:  Temp-to-hire(possibly direct for the right candidate)
Pay:  $60-$75/hr.
