Job Overview: Join our Portfolio Management team, where you will focus on providing ongoing operational support for Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions. Your role will involve defining data model standards, designing and implementing workflow solutions, and integrating systems to meet global standards while catering to local reporting needs. This includes not only technical support but also monitoring data quality, addressing user and system issues, and supporting strategic initiatives to enhance project delivery and streamline processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting & Process Improvements: Propose and implement reporting and process enhancements based on project server data to support informed decision-making.
- Technology Enhancements: Recommend and execute technology upgrades to improve system stability, performance, security management, and overall efficiency.
- Project Reporting Service: Lead efforts to define reporting and workflow requirements in collaboration with stakeholders. Design solutions that meet both stakeholder needs and quality standards, either by developing solutions directly or providing technical leadership to the team.
- System Documentation: Ensure all system solutions and configurations are thoroughly documented and kept up-to-date.
- Consultant Oversight: Partner with the Technical Leader to manage offshore consultant resources for ongoing account maintenance and reporting data management.
- System Testing & Data Quality: Lead or participate in system testing and data quality assurance efforts. Assist with data entry and validation as needed.
- Staff Training: Provide guidance and training to staff on using Project Server.
- Data Management: Support peak periods by loading necessary data into plans and systems.
- Global PPM Support: Participate in global PPM requirements gathering, testing, and gap analysis to help define a blueprint that meets both global and local needs, including enhancements, integrations, and migrations.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in configuring and maintaining Project Server/PWA (SharePoint) environments, including patch management, security access management, data analysis views, OLAP cubes, PSIs, and SQL reporting.
- Proven ability to lead internal team efforts for critical system updates, enhancements, and patches.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Preferred Experience:
- SQL development and database design.
- Nintex Workflow and/or Microsoft Power Apps.
- SharePoint solution design.
- PowerBI, ServiceNow Demand & Project Management (PPM).
- Excel proficiency.
